The transformation began with the clearing out of all of our belongings, removing the shelves, and emptying the shell. We started by adding the baffles for the roof insulation

Then the insulation....thank god because the rain on the metal roof was deafening.

Next came the T&G siding and the sheet rock in the kitchen area

We left off here for a 10 day break with the Blackmore ladies and when we returned we gave them creative license to painted the kitchen. It is now a warm glowing room just sending out warmth to all who enter.

After we returned from our trip in the park we got back to work on the floors. We tiled the kitchen area and put bamboo on the rest. Our neighbor Randy had leftover wood that made a great addition to our little cabin.

Wala! It looks like a finished home!
There is not a piece of trim left unattended to. Joe did amazing work on the windows all the little details. We even have a new fancy outhouse door!

It is all ready for friends and family and us next time we make it back there!
